The City of Holdfast Bay supports and encourages Community Gardens within our area. The proposed guidelines provide a brief introduction to Community Gardens and describes a recommended role for Council, including a process for assessing proposals from individuals or groups wishing to develop gardens on Council land.
We would like to know your thoughts about our proposed Community Gardens Guidelines and about the possible establishment of Community Gardens on Council land.
Please let us know what you think by participating in this Forum and our Quick Poll.
Copies of the guidelines can be downloaded from the project library, or by visiting our Customer Centre at 24 Jetty Rd Brighton, and both our libraries at Glenelg and Brighton.
This consultation commences Tuesday 1 November and closes on Tuesday 22 November 2011.
