Possible New Beach-side Kiosk for Glenelg North

Possible New Beach-side Kiosk for Glenelg North

This consultation has concluded.

The City of Holdfast Bay is seeking your views into the possible establishment of a beach-side kiosk at Glenelg North.

The original kiosk located adjacent to Tarniwarra Park was demolished in late 2003 due to disrepair.

Council is investigating the options for this proposal, including the level of demand for a new kiosk in this location, the style and possible operation of such a facility. It is envisaged that a new kiosk in this location may cater to both residents and visitors to this section of the beach.  It is proposed that any possible kiosk will not be licensed to serve alcohol.

Let us know what you think by completing our survey either online below or by from the Brighton Civic Centre or the Library branches located at Brighton and Glenelg or by letter or email on mail@holdfast.sa.gov.au.

This consultation commences on Monday 1 August until close of business, Monday 22 August 2011.

Thank you for sharing your comments. Council will consider all responses and use them where appropriate to decide on the best way forward for Holdfast Bay.
